Hob
A desktop app for local AI that picks the right model for your machine, chats offline and works with your PDFs and files.
On first launch, Hob checks your RAM and graphics card, downloads a suitable open model (such as Gemma, Qwen or gpt-oss) and sets everything up for you. After that you can chat offline, summarize documents, fill in PDFs, analyze images or crunch spreadsheets with code running in a sandbox. You choose exactly which folders Hob can access, and it asks before changing any file. There's no account to create and no telemetry.
