OpenClaw
A personal AI agent on your own machine that you control through chat apps and that gets tasks done for you

OpenClaw runs as a service on your own computer. You talk to it through chat apps or the web interface, and it handles tasks for you: it edits files, runs commands, does research and remembers things. It works with cloud models using your own API key, or with local models, for example through Ollama. The installer sets up Node.js and then launches the guided setup right away. Important: the agent can make far-reaching changes to your system. Only give it the permissions it actually needs, and don't install third-party skills without checking them first.
